How to simplify complex building systems

A building automation system needs to be as user friendly as possible. Taking the time to make complex systems easier to use will give you a better experience.

Setting up a building automation system should include simplifying complex control systems as much as possible within the system. The easier you can present the information to the user the better system you will have.

In this tutorial I will show you how to combine points on multiple controllers into a single system display that focuses only on the points related to the individual system. We will build an equipment definition in Metasys MUI using Johnson Controls SCT and add only the points we need.
